Things to Do at Little Sister Farm and the Area
Do Nothing
Unplug and unwind. Sit outside the Airstream with a coffee, watch the sun move across the fields, or stretch out with a good book. Stillness is a feature, not a bug.
Take a Walk Around the Farm
Explore the rhythm of the farm at your own pace. Wander between growing beds, observe the hand-scale tools in action, and take in the quiet beauty of a no-till landscape. You’re welcome to walk the property respectfully and see where your food is grown.
Hike the Surrounding Mountains
Benson sits within reach of three major ranges: the Taconic Mountains to the west, the Adirondacks just across the New York border, and the Green Mountains to the east. Day hikes, overlooks, and trailheads are all within an hour's drive.
Swim in a Nearby Lake
Cool off in one of several nearby lakes. Lake Bomoseen is just 15 minutes away, while Lake Champlain and Lake George are both perfect for a half-day adventure. Pack a towel and take a dip.
